Fundraise for Red Cross
Thanks for supporting Australian Red Cross – we’re so glad you’ve joined us in our quest to help people in need, provide relief in time of crisis and care for the most vulnerable in Australia and around the world.
As you would no doubt be aware, there have been an unprecedented number of disasters in recent months, from flooding in Queensland and Victoria, to earthquakes in NZ and Japan and the subsequent tsunami. Your support will not only enable Red Cross to respond to natural disasters, it will help us to continue our everyday work. Red Cross gives thousands of hungry school children a healthy breakfast each day, assists older people living alone, works with young people that have issues with alcohol and other drugs, and provides many other vital services to help people in need.
Fundraising is a fun and rewarding way to involve your friends, family and colleagues in the humanitarian work of Red Cross. By raising funds you will make a difference to the lives of people who need it most.
To help you along your way please download and read through our fundraising guide: this will assist you by outlining the steps to successful fundraising. As well as suggesting some ideas and giving some fundraising tips, it also details the important terms and conditions relating to fundraising for Red Cross. Alternatively you might like to fundraise by setting up an online fundraising page. If you have visited this page and you are looking to fundraise for one of our Disaster Appeals please read through the emergency appeal fundraising guide.
For assistance, please contact the Community Fundraising team on communityfundraising@redcross.org.au or call 1800 652 635 during office hours.
