Fundraising for Australian Red Cross supports our general funds. These funds enable us to prepare, respond and provide relief to individuals, households and communities during disasters, as well as provide ongoing support to people in need in Australia and overseas.

During an emergency, Red Cross people - volunteers and staff - work alongside police, fire and other emergency services, government agencies and community partners to ensure communities are effectively supported. After an emergency, Red Cross people are still there working with individuals and communities to help recovery.

Australian Red Cross

Red Cross is committed to rebuilding the lives of those in need. From parenting programs, education, reconnecting families separated by war or natural disaster, right through to providing shelter, food and clean water, the work goes on year in, year out.

By raising money for Red Cross you will help fund this vital work and improve the lives of people in need across Australia and overseas.

One way which you can do this is through fundraising events like Big Cake Bake, where hosting an event is easy and fun to participate in, but most importantly all for a good. Big Cake Bake happens in October – www.bigcakebake.org.au

For more information on events like these, as well as other Red Cross projects and services visit www.redcross.org.au
